Designing and animating for this project was an interesting challenge. There are many rules to consider when telling a visual story for an audience with a different culture than my own. I learned a lot in the process.

Timing between English and Arabic VO was dramatically different, and trying to line up the action with the VO was like animating blind. It was dependant on collaboration, patience, and attention to detail. For instance, no characters could be using their left hand to wave or gesture at someone else, and the background music had to go silent at certain moments out of respect for the subject matter being shown. All in all, turned out great!
