After the Impact - who Lives, who Dies
I had the honor of designing and animating this section of a wonderful new exhibit at the Field Museum in Chicago. It is truly a dream come true project and a career high to see my name on a plaque in a museum!
Working with Latoya Flowers, who directed the overall look and style of the multi-media exhibit, I created 6 short films about 1 minute long each that showed which species faired well after the impact of the asteroid that killed the dino’s, and which did not. I developed many sketches and storyboards to make sure everything was scientifically acurate.
My contribution is only a portion of what the entire exhibit has to offer, featuring work from Chicago artist Jay Ryan of Birdmachine, as well as animators Rachel Oftedahl and Warren Rudd.
